Wood floor panels are very commonly used nowadays, they are affordable and attractive looking. Some of them, are not even made of real wood, but pvc. Regardless of the material it is made of, water exposure curls it up, it changes dimensions, gaps begin to show up and you trip trying to walk on it. Unless, the water has been immediately removed and dried, paneling needs to be replaced in a majority of cases. It is usually covered by the insurance companies since they are responsible to rebuild it to the previous standard, but going through the process is excruciating for many.
