Major fire damage to the kitchen required major effort to restore the equipment and get them back open for business. Anytime there is a fire we have to deploy larger crews because the scope of work tends to be much larger. While the demolition is not very complicated, the cleaning of the soot and smoke requires a lot of hands, equipment and time. In this commercial kitchen we were able to save the stainless steel equipment, those were big savings for the insurance company and the owner. It has also saved time which allowed the business to be open weeks sooner that otherwise.
