Fire Damage before and after mitigation
Fire damage is one of the most severe and costly loses. Most times, fire mitigation means removal of all interior pieces, walls, ceiling and flooring. Basically, we strip the location to bare structure which itself needs to be professionally cleaned and sealed. Wood structure is first power washed, then sanitized to prevent any mold, dried and sealed with shellac paint, that traps all the odor inside. You can consider that a full rebuild-reconstruction. This is a very time-taking process, we have taken many projects of that kind all the way up to the finished restoration. We have an extensive experience in dealing with insurance companies making this process easier for all involved.
