Hotel Water Damage Mitigation

Hawaii is a number one tourist destination in the US which prompts a significant number hotels throughout the Islands. While we are vacationing and enjoying the relaxing pace of Hawaii lifestyle we tend to pay less attention to things we do pay attention while at home. That is why, many of us go on vacation. Hotels are our frequent customer, people clog the toilets and leave running water it seems almost daily. Maintenance staff if you pay attention is usually pretty busy taking in consideration our high occupancy rates. Small leaks are easily manageable by the hotel staff but we are still called to lend a helping hand and use our equipment. In February, we were called by the Hotel located on Hilo's waterfront to mitigate an overflowed tub that leaked water all the way down from the 12th floor down the stack of rooms to the 1st floor. Damage was caught fairly early, we have managed to dry the carpets in all the rooms and using access holes to the space in between the walls we have managed to dry also the behind the wall spaces. No job is to big for SERVPRO of Hawaii, we have an equipment to handle any size of the building.
