Hilo Home Damaged by Flash Flood in Recent Rainstorms?
5/9/2023 (Permalink)
Aloha! Our teams in Hawaii and Maui respond to storm damage emergencies throughout the year. Hilo is the wettest city in the United States, receiving rain 275 days each year. Hilo is located on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii and receives moisture blowing in from the Pacific Ocean. The tropical rainforest climate is lush and tropical and many waterfalls and beautiful foliage from tropical plants and flowers blanket the region.
All that rain can cause damage to homes and buildings, too. Storms can cause flash flooding and water intrusion issues. Here is a recent Google review from one of our storm-damage customers:
“Wow these guys are amazing - we had a disaster water event from a storm and the next day they were out with all kinds of quality, new equipment, and manpower. Cleaned up then started with the drying process. Extremely courteous great guys. Can’t say enough. Rare to get service like this nowadays. Should be 10 stars!” Marc Sarosi
